The study design consisted of a 6-month, double-blind, open-labeled, single-dose crossover study in the University of Agrd Health Care Centre (Agrd). The study period was 12 months. The subjects were randomized to receive sildenafil citrate 20 mg or placebo in a fixed-dose crossover fashion for 6 months. The study period was continued until the end of the 3-month washout period.
